In the heart of Kliptown, Soweto, a beacon of hope has been shining since 1987—the Soweto Kliptown Youth (SKY) Foundation. Founded by Bob Nameng during his teenage years, SKY was established with a profound mission, to uplift the youth of Kliptown by providing essential services and opportunities that foster growth, education and community development. ​

Our Mission
At SKY, we are dedicated to offering the basic necessities that many of our community's children lack. Our programs are designed to address both immediate needs and long-term development, ensuring that every child has the foundation to build a brighter future.​

Our Programs Educational Support
We provide after-school tutoring and personal development programs, ensuring that the children of Kliptown have access to quality education and mentorship.

Nutritional Assistance
Recognizing the importance of proper nutrition, we offer fresh meals to our children, combating food insecurity and promoting healthy development. ​
